A panoramic photo depicts a space from one fixed viewpoint and lets you turn left or right. A 3D Model lets you walk through the space to experience it as if you were there.
A typical 2,000 sq ft home can be scanned in about an hour.
Matterport® has added a measure icon so you can measure anything within the 3D tour, like ceiling height, room dimensions, furniture size, cabinet/countertop space and more!
In most cases it will take less than 24 hours from scanning to a completed 3D model.
A model of an area up to 15,000 square feet. That can vary, depending on the layout of the property and furniture.
The camera is primarily used for indoor spaces and does not function as well in sunlight or in wide open spaces. Some models have had success with external spaces such as lanais and patios when there is no direct sunlight (such as at dawn or dusk).
360 outside scans can be added to the dollhouse, slideshow and 3D tour. So it is now possible to add 360 exterior scans to the interior 3D scans so you can navigate from the inside to the outside and back.
Mattertags annotate points in 3D Space for Real Estate,Travel & Hospitality, Media, and Other Industries.
When a viewer mouses over or clicks on a Mattertag marker, a billboard appears with a short text description of the tagged feature, object, or area.
